Angela Jones (born December 2, 1977) is an American film and stage actress, director, and choreographer from San Angelo Texas. Angela received her theatrical training from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and received a Master's in Exercise Physiology (2002) from Angelo State University and a Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre from Texas Women's University (2014). Angela is best known for her role as Danee in Texas, America (2008) and Crazy Kind of Love (2013). Television and film experience include Friday Night Lights (2007-2009), Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, and Blonde (2003), Friday Night Lights (2004), and Man of the House (2005) along with various regional commercials and voice-overs. Stage credits include Velma in Chicago, Minnie in Hello Dolly, and Roberta in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea to name a few. In 2006 Angela opened the San Angelo Broadway Academy Youth Theatre, the first youth performing arts school in San Angelo serving over 550 students per year. As artistic director she has directed over 40 musicals and stage plays including Les Miserables, Hairspray, and Midsummers Night Dream.
