Bernard Whalen

Bernard Whalen is a lieutenant on the NYPD and has been with the Department for 36 years. He co-authored three books; Justifiable Homicide, The NYPD's First Fifty Years - Politicians, Police Commissioners and Patrolmen, Undisclosed Files of the Police - Cases From the Archives of the NYPD and is an expert on the early days of the NYPD.
