Jacob was born in Los Angeles and moved shortly after to Evanston, IL where he grew up. Jacob started studying theater at the age of nine and began working professionally at fifteen. He has originated two roles in Joseph Jefferson nominated plays in Chicago. Jacob has worked on numerous commercials and short films. He is best known for his role as Lance in the mockumentary web series "boyband", which streams on Fullscreen. Jacob has two younger siblings and lives in Los Angeles where he studies acting at The University of Southern California.
