Pat started her professional life as an actress, singer and dancer before later embarking on a successful career as a choreographer, director, specialist puppeteer and motion capture artist.In September 2013 she returned to her first love of performing. From October to Christmas 2015 she played the flamboyant aging actress Mrs Vane in the site specific production of 'Picture of Dorian Gray' in Greenwich and Mrs Wilberforce in 'The Ladykillers' at the Underground Theatre in Eastbourne in August 2015. The Easbourne Herald wrote: ''Pat Garrett makes a delightful, dotty but forceful old lady, Mrs Wilberforce, ably supported by the rest of the cast''. She will play the role again at the end of October 2016. She has played leading roles in 26 short films including 'Pardon the Intrusion' which screened at both Oscar qualifying and Bafta qualifying film festivals during 2015. Feature films include 'Home for Christmas', 'Impatient Patient Disorder' and the concept trailer for 'Knightfall' as well as in the TV pilot episode of 'Unbelievers'. She was in a Branston Pickle commercial and is on the digital screen in Barclays Bank during 2016.As a choreographer Pat has more than fifty Theatre choreography credits (including 9 new musicals) and has worked with The Royal National Theatre, The Royal Shakespeare Company and The D'Oyly Carte Opera Company as well as many of the major Repertory theatres around the UK. Film credits include: Little Shop of Horrors, Santa Claus - The Movie, King Ralph, Muppet Treasure Island, Muppet Christmas Carol, Photographing Fairies, Jesus, Jack and the Beanstalk - The Real Story, Alice in Wonderland and A Christmas Carol. Television credits include: The Long Firm, Eastenders, 'Orrible, Uncut Funk, Doc Martin, Second Sight, The League of Gentlemen Christmas Special, North & South, Judge John Deed, Monarch of the Glen, The Brief, My Uncle Silas and the Bafta winning Oscar nominated Goodie-Two-Shoes. Other credits include The Supergrass video Can You Hear Us Pumping On Your Stereo and Commercials including McDonalds We-Doo-Ron-Ron, Mobil Twenty-Four Toasters from Scunthorpe and Der Spiegel's award winning Bohemian Rhapsody parody.
