Phillip has had the unique opportunity to have guidance and learn from the best of them. His creative fields are Music, Modeling, and Acting.Phillip A. Hall III a.k.a. Slant was born in Seattle, Washington on April 4th 1984 from (Mom) Debra Lee Hall and (Dad) Phillip Allen Hall Jr. Phillip's family latter made the decision to relocate to Los Angeles, California 5 years after his birth to expand the family maintenance business his father created and owned. At this stage in Phillip's life he was homing in his creative ability and mind was made up on what he wanted to become, a entertainer. Although, This at times did not sit well with his father and became a distance between the two. Phillip's dad was more interested in his business field of labor and wanted Phillip to follow in his path.Phillip stayed focused on his new found career and continued to enjoy entertainment at the age of 6 and always was seen with a camera or set up in front of cameras rein acting stars he seen on TV like Michael Jackson-local news anchors. Unlike Phillips Dad his Mom loved the fact that her son was such of a open boy and wanted to be in entertainment. She believed that he would do very well in entertainment. Also, latter was the one to give Phillip the music alias of Slant.At the age of 9 Phillip went on to explore the musical creative side of him. Phillip acquired a speech issue of long holding his vowels around this same time. He noticed that this issue almost magically went away when he would sing or recite Hip Hop lyrics. With this in mind he went on to writing his first song called "Let It Ride" and ultimately music destroyed the speech issue almost completely. In his quick rise to local R&B and Hip Hop fame Phillip was getting noticed by most of the locals in his neighborhood and was soon introduced to a producer by the name of Charlie Mack that would produce his first release of songs "Choices" and "Visions" on the compilation called "One Key One Life" on Key To Life Records. That hit the local airwaves right after release with raves on the Compilation website.With his status quickly enlarging and creativity expanding Phillip continued to be a local activist by participating in things like The Aids Awareness Show and Performing in local clubs. At the age of 15 Phillip met with Majors in Hip Hop and R&B Like Russell Simmons, Warren Moore and more that would help Phillip work on his craft and develop more professionalism. His local community started to notice him for being with celebs and jealousy started to run rampant. Phillip believed in helping others achieve their goal just as he was on the road to achieving his.He soon came realize that it's not always peaches and cream in the music industry. Due to the rise in jealousy a unfortunate incident that left Phillips Jaw wired impaired his ability to record music for up to 1 yr. But that never stopped Phillip from recording. His recent 2013 release called "Summer Time" has landed Phillip back on the charts and is now in Las Vegas's Top 20 music charts on Reverbnation. Phillip quickly turned this negative to a positive and expanded his talents into modeling and acting.Phillip now had bigger objectives to accomplish. At the age of 18 Phillip lost his father and his first baby girl Amia Hall was born. He had to be more reliable and have a stable income for his daughter and mom. So with his dreams on hold he started to work for a local Wal-Mart. His natural shine still seemed to follow him. He was soon noticed for his looks by the Wal-Mart Magazine Staff and was chosen to appear in a world wide back to school magazine issue for their clothing products.Phillip at the time was not looking to become a model at Wal-Mart but the opportunity was great for his resume. So he did the Photo-Shoot that would change his life to a world wide recognized face and smile.The issue went on to duplicate 1 billion copies all over the world. This left a impression in Modeling and Showbiz that kept Phillips recognized smile in time until this day. This great opportunity lead him to expand to television.With the taste of being in front of the camera Phillip wanted to continue his entertainment career in that direction. So at the age of 23 Phillip finally had the time in his busy life to continue his quest but life responsibilities still kept a strong hold on him. Still dealing with the stress of losing his father and now with his second daughter, Phillip decides to channel his frustrations and talents into acting. No longer letting things hold him back Phillip finds time to take acting classes.Phillip enrolls himself into Improv classes at BlueStreak Talent located in Las Vegas and completes 6 weeks of classes. Here he learned the essence of acting and it turned out to fit him very well. His instructor always complimented on how advanced he was and was surprised to learn that this was his first classes. Phillip was known as a person of many characters and a very loving Individual. He was always complimented on his resemblances of celebrities like Omarion Grandberry, Tupac Shakur. With his many characters, known looks and education now under his belt his jump into acting became a combustible attraction to the acting world.During the transition to acting after Improv school Phillip finds Love and meets his future fiancee Chris. She helped Phillip go in the right direction and realize the reality of his talents. She advised him that his talents should require a agent. Phillip took the advice and landed a contract with Well Known SAG and Non SAG agent at Remington/Yellow Rose Talent Agency. After this connection Phillip went on to do his first movies and commercials such as ( Get Him to the Greek (2010) - Movie), The Other Guys (2010) - (Movie),Callaway Golf - (Commercial) & More. Also connects with the important people of Hollywood. From the start of his acting career Phillip was in major productions and continues to achieve in the same direction.Phillip now resides in Las Vegas, Nv with his fiancee, and three sons. Phillip continues to enjoy the good things in life and always is keeping his options open for new entertainment projects and affiliations.
