A Native of LaVerkin, Utah, Vern is a sought-after guitarist and pedal steel guitarist. Vern has toured and recorded with Freddy Fender and The Texas Tornadoes for five years. Vern is featured on the Texas Tornadoes Grammy Nominated Album "4 Aces" album, on the Warner Brothers Label. Vern also was a member of the Meisner, Rich, Swan Project. This band includes former Eagles and Poco founding member Randy Meisner (Take it to the Limit), Memphis Legend Billy Swan, and Charlie Rich Jr.. Vern's own rock band "Enertia", toured Europe opening shows for Black Sabbath. Enertia also opened for Stepenwolf. In 1997 and 1998 Vern toured with Gary Allen. Gary's top ten hits were "Her Man" In 1996, and "It would be You" in 1998. Vern also worked with the Legendary Wynn Stewart.
