One of the bad boys of high school, Jason McCartey lusts after Ginger for the duration of the film. After she gets bit, she smokes weed with him and his friends in the back of Sam's truck. As her transformation progresses, she begins dating him, and later has unprotected sex with him. This leaves him infected with the curse, but he remains unaware until later, when he urinates blood, and starts showing physical abnormalities. Brigitte finds him attacking a child on Halloween, and tests a sample of the cure on him, which apparently works. He staggers away, and his fate remains unclear. It is speculated that he might have eventually became the werewolf that Brigitte is on the run from in the sequel.
