In the Seventh season, there are a host of more action and realistic issues and events which including: Oliver surrendered to the police, which is the green arrow, and will therefore face many challenges and positions inside the prison. The development of Felicity and Laurel's friendship has been one of the best parts of the season, if only because I don't think we've ever had anything like this on the show.
"Brothers & Sisters" is about exactly what you'd expect, but only one pair of siblings does anything really noteworthy. I desperately want to be on board with this Emiko arc, it just hasn't grabbed me yet.
This episode does a lot to build a newfound sense of momentum and establish a clearer sense of direction for the remainder of Season 7. Dante may just live up to his reputation.
"Brothers & Sisters" provided us with some much-needed clarity in the flash-forwards, while also providing us with some well-paced progression in the present -- capped off by two of the most genuinely shocking cliffhangers the show has ever produced.
This is an instance of Team Arrow literally going looking for trouble, and I fear it's setting up yet another villain that fails to capture the imagination.
"Brothers & Sisters" leaves us with not only hope of more OTA on the horizon but also a beautiful Olicity moment as Felicity tells Oliver the big news.
